Unit definitions
A unit you can point at.
Units are set during discovery and written into the agreement. They are chosen so that you can count them yourself and get the same number we do.
- Document processed
- One inbound document read, classified, coded and written into your system of record. Re-reads of the same document are not counted twice. per document
- Conversation resolved
- One customer thread closed without a human reply. A thread handed to a person counts as a handover, not a resolution. per conversation
- Record reconciled
- One record confirmed identical across two systems, or corrected and confirmed. Comparisons that find nothing to do are free. per record
- Flow run completed
- One declared flow that finished end to end with every hop acknowledged. Partial runs are not billed. per run
- Recommendation delivered
- One ranked next action surfaced to an operator with its supporting evidence. per recommendation
Never on the invoice
The quiet week is the test.
Any pricing model can look fair in a busy month. Ours has to be fair in August.
Retries and failures
When the system has to try three times, that is our engineering problem. You are billed once, for the completed result.
Monitoring and upkeep
Watching, patching, absorbing an upstream vendor’s changes and the monthly improvement pass are included in the unit price.
What is charged separately
Discovery is a fixed fee agreed before it starts, and it is yours to keep whether or not you proceed. Beyond that, the meter is the model.
What you can always see
The billing portal shows the running count for the current period, the unit definitions in force, and every historical statement. The count reconciles to rows in your own warehouse.
